Purpose Statement for the Church Multiplication Ministry Team

The Church Multiplication Ministry Team Exists to:

Provide leadership for the multiplication of healthy churches in the Church of the United Brethren in Christ, USA, by offering vision, guidance, and resources to our conferences, churches, and church planters.

We Value:

1. Multiplication of healthy churches as a Great Commission goal.

2. Prayer as foundational.

3. Healthy churches planting churches as the most effective model for church multiplication.

4. Utilization of proven church multiplication strategies, including:

• Enlisted prayer base.
• Planter/spouse assessment.
• Training (boot camp, GHC, and NCD).
• Effective coaching.
• Support mechanisms like New Church Incubators.

5. Staying in touch with what is current and effective in church multiplication.

6. Good stewardship and accountability for resources expended in church multiplication.
