The Open Theism Debate
From 2000-2002, the United Brethren church and Huntington College were engulfed in a controversy surrounding the two theological views known as Open Theism and Inclusivism. The reason they became an issue is that Dr. John Sanders, a professor at Huntington College, was a leading proponent of both views. The controversy came to a head during the 2002 US National Board. The following materials relate to that meeting and the overall discussion.
