What We'll Do

Morning Devotions. These will be led by various UB worship leaders. We're hoping to be on the beach for morning devos!

Events. Two keynote addresses via video from nationally known speakers on worship:

• Bob Kauflin: Why is Theology Important for Worship?
• Efrem Smith: Worship of the Beloved.
  

Workshops. We plan to have a number of workshops by UB worship leaders on the following topics:

• Biblical Worship
• Equipping Volunteers Roundtable
• Spiritual Formation in Worship
• Using Sibellius/Garageband and GoLive for Worship Services.
  

Free Time. We’ll keep our afternoons totally free for networking, song writing, beach time, Daytona 500 trips, or whatever you want to do.

Networking. We would like to start some networking so that UB songwriters can connect online and write songs together. We'd also like to make other connections so that we're able to have an easier time finding resources and ideas.

Arrangements

Cost. $110 per person. This will cover lodging and the evening meal. Pastors will be on their own for breakfast and lunch.

Lodging. Accommodations will be on the beach. We’ll hold our larger group meetings at First UB church in Holly Hill, about 10 minutes away.

Transportation. You must provide your own transportation to Daytona Beach and also getting around once there.
