2005 US National Conference Delegates

The United Brethren Discipline requires the Bishop to publish the names of the persons elected as delegates and alternates to the US National Conference, and to do so by February 15. Members of each conference elect persons to represent their conference. Each local church in a conference can nominate one layperson as a potential lay delegate; all ordained elders in the conference are placed on the ballot for ministerial delegates. The annual conference reduces the size of the ballot, so that it contains only twice as many names as need to be elected. In a couple cases this year, a single church had more than one delegate on the ballot, because not enough persons were nominated by churches in that conference.
