La Escuelita Biblica de Verano
Templo Corona de Gloria, our Hispanic congregation in Phoenix, Ariz., ministered
to about 45 kids during the church's Vacation Bible School over a ten-day period
last summer.
Parents were invited on Sunday evening for an awards service. Margarita Estrada,
wife of Pastor Angel Estrada, gave a message about Jesus, wrapping an evangelistic
appeal into a Bible lesson. Afterwards, a number of parents inquired about the
church and when services were held.
Some of the children still attend the church, which is what they were aiming
for. Margarita says, "The Lord really blessed us, and supplied every need,
like food and refreshments. Most of all, the Lord gave us the opportunity to minister
to the children's lives in such a way that we later saw the results of this work.
I thank God for all that he did in this VBS. Corona de Gloria is trying to reach
children for the Kingdom of God."
