2007 Annual Reports
Each year, ministers (both assigned and unasigned) are required to complete forms which tell about the church's ministry during the past year and their own ministry. Those forms are also available as Microsoft Word forms, which ministers can then return to the Bishop's Office as email attachments, or print out and return by regular mail. Go here to download them.

Financial Report Forms
All UB churches are required to send 3.5% of each month's income (minus missions giving, building fund, and estate gifts) to support our cooperative ministries. The Finances page contains links for the downloadable monthly report form, a treasurer's information form, and online instructions.

Our Governing Documents
- The Discipline. The Discipline is pretty much our corporate manual of operations, dealing with such things as moral and social standards, requirements of ministers, info on the denominational leadership teams, how we're organized at the various levels, and much more. The current 2005-2007 Discipline is available online.
- International Constitution and Bylaws. A set of documents were approved in 2001 to set common standards and procedures for the various national conferences around the world.
- Doctrinal Statements. A variety of doctrinal/theological statements have been adopted over the years, usually in response to a controversy at that particular time.
- National Conference Covenant. Every UB church must sign this eight-point covenant every two years in order to remain a member church. (See Covenant FAQ)

Agreement Between Churches and New Pastors
Also in the Personnel area, we have what we call an "Agreement of Understanding," which every church should use when hiring new staff (whether it's the senior pastor or associate pastors). View it online and read introductory material about it. Download it as a fillable form.

Parish and Ministers Profile Forms
Use the Parish Profile (PDF | Fillable MS Word form) form to describe all aspects of your church. It's especially helpful to give to prospective pastors. The Minister's Profile Form (PDF | Fillable MS Word form) gives a thorough picture of a minister, and is normally required of persons applying for a position in the United Brethren church. |
