Bible Quizzing
Every year, United Brethren churches are invited to participate in Bible Quizzing, a program which has existed in our denomination for many decades. The season typically runs from January through May, with the denominational finals held in June. Quizzing during the season is administered through the participating conferences. Currently, three conferences field quiz teams: Michigan, Central, and Mid-Atlantic.
The study passage for 2007-2008 is Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, and Philemon. We use the New International Version of the Bible.
We use the same study passage as other denominational groups, though we have at times made some adjustments. Currently, the inter-denominational Bible quiz cycle for NIV quizzing looks like this:

We use a system of four-person teams. They sit at tables and use hand buzzers (some other groups use a system which entails jumping off of a seat pad).
