Addressing Specific Theological Issues

Over the years, the Church has seen fit to address a variety of theological issues. In most cases, the issue arose because of a controversy of some kind, perhaps involving only only one person or church, or perhaps being more widespread. A study committee was then appointed, and ultimately, the church leadership approved a statement on the subject.
